Two salespeople give different answers to the same question

In a B2B purchase, an ambiguous condition can travel from meeting to meeting and become a promise. A reviewed reference supports consistent answers and makes missing confirmation recognizable.

Commercial consistency starts with knowing what is confirmed, who can change it and when to ask.

Find the difference that could affect the buyer

A prospect asks whether the service includes support after delivery. One person says yes; another presents it as an additional option. They may be thinking of different contracts. Gather the answers and examine the underlying condition before correcting a sentence. The problem may be an unclear service definition, an old proposal version or an exception that became routine without the rest of the team knowing.

Build a reference that supports answers and questions

A useful knowledge base separates stable information from matters requiring assessment for each engagement. Describe what the service includes, which conditions vary by assignment and who can resolve an exception. Add actual team questions with clear answers and references to current materials. You do not need a script for every conversation. You need a reference that helps recognize when a general answer would be incomplete and how to obtain the confirmation the buyer needs.

Review the information the agent uses in Wiwo.Talk

Wiwo.Talk supports a company knowledge base to guide agent responses. Review that information when services, products or service rules change. Agree when a person should continue and which decisions remain with the team. If a question depends on contract scope, configure a process allowing consultation rather than presenting a generic answer as a condition valid for everyone. Channels and actions are defined for the operation.

Check the change in a complete conversation

Updating a paragraph does not establish that the problem is solved. Test the original question and another introducing a different condition. Review whether the answer preserves the distinction and whether someone can continue when information is missing. The human team also needs to know about the change rather than continuing to use an old presentation. Joint review by the service owner and the people handling questions can reveal terms clear internally but confusing to a buyer.

Give the next change an owner

Agree who will review the reference and how its users will be notified. When a salesperson encounters a new question, there should be somewhere to raise it without improvising a promise. Bring a common question and an exception to a demo: check what information the agent would use, what a person would need to consult and which part of the process needs adjustment. The aim is a trustworthy conversation, not identical answers to different client needs.

Frequently asked questions

Should every salesperson use exactly the same words?

No. They can adapt the explanation to the buyer while remaining consistent about confirmed conditions and checking matters that depend on the engagement.

Does uploading documents prevent contradictions by itself?

No. Materials need to be current, understandable and have a review owner. Check how answers are given and when a person continues the conversation too.
